The psalmist declares the Lord reigns, let the people tremble, He sits between the cherubim, let the earth be moved, the Lord being great in Zion, and He being high above all the people, urging everyone to praise His great and terrible name, for it is “holy,” “qadosh” in Hebrew.
The psalmist describes the king’s strength also loving judgment, God having established equity, executing judgment and righteousness in Jacob, urging everyone to exalt the Lord their God, and worship at His footstool, for He is holy, recalling Moses and Aaron among His priests, and Samuel among those who call upon His name, describing how they called upon the Lord, and He answered them.
